Head Kore 99
Head Kore 99
The Head Kore 99 Skis takes the KORE concept - a lightened construction that retains the aggressive nature and high speed stability Head s known for - to a mid-width platform that's suited for daily use even when it hasn't snowed recently.
The 99 mm waisted version snaps off short radius turns with ease, performs adequately in bumps, and still kills it in the steep and deep.

HEAD’s award-winning KORE series was met with rabid enthusiasm when it debuted last winter, so it makes perfect sense that the brand has added a versatile 99-mm waist width to the family for 2018-19. “This ski has no compromises,” commented Adrian Bouthot. “It has a super fun waist width and would be an ideal one ski quiver that excels in a lot of areas.” The Head Kore 99 utilizes the same construction found in the rest of the family—lightweight karuba wood, incredibly strong yet thin Graphene, rockered tips and tails with camber underfoot—but in a waist width that’s dreamy in a few inches of fresh or the chopped up crud from last week’s storm.
Rocker / Camber / Rocker
Karuba Light Wood Core – Karuba gives the Kore series skis their pop and personality. It's the perfect ratio of density and weight. The advantages of combining Karuba, Koroyd and Graphene enhance the ski, making it light and balanced.
Lengths: 162, 171, 180 and 189
Coming at a very popular waist width, this can be a one-ski choice for anyone wishing for great performance regardless of where or whatthey are skiing. 99mm is also a perfect width for an intermediate’s or lighter skiers dedicated pow ski...where they would be overwhelmed by too much float going with a wider width or more rocker.
Topless Tech – Head uses a polyester fleece rather than solid plastic topsheet material to create the lightest skis in their category.
Graphene – The strongest, lightest material known to man is fused into the Kore's tip and tail to make it lighter and more responsive in deep snow.
Koroyd – Super strong, elastic and incredibly light, this honeycomb material is at the heart of the GKC ski construction.
